The Mardi Gras Indian Council and R.E.A.L. present the annual Super Sunday festival and parade in A.L. Davis Park at Washington Avenue and LaSalle Street. 11:00 am Festival begins at A.L. Davis Park located at Washington Ave. and LaSalle St. 1:00 pm Parade begins at Washington Ave. and LaSalle St. Council Chief Howard Miller announces the Super Sunday 2014 Trail/Parade Route as follows: The procession will begin at Washington Ave. and LaSalle St.; moving onto Simon Bolivar Ave.; turning left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.; turning left onto Claiborne Ave.; turning left onto Washington Ave.; culminating at Washington Ave. and LaSalle St. at A.L. Davis Park with cultural activities and live musical performances. The festival will features entertainment by the Hot 8 Brass Band, Troop Brass Brand, Stooges Brass Band, Big Al Carson, B.R.W. Singing Group, DJ Captain Charles, Jo Cool Davis, DJ Jubilee, Young Men Olympian, the Lady Buckjumpers and Step Up/Step Out.
