In some ways my job is similar to that of a writer (author), yet in other ways it is quite different. I take ideas and concepts and write them down so that they can be understood and/or followed. When trying to express these ideas, on a good day I am a prolific writer and on a bad day I end up writing nothing. In my job it is OK to plagiarize someone elses work done if it is within domain of the company. I know some where around 10 - 15 languages of which Im totally fluent in about 3 or 4. The languages that I know some have similar roots and some are from a totally different origin. About the only thing they have in common is they usually have very strict grammatical structure yet when poorly written the ideas being expressed can become totally incomprehensible. If youve not guessed it, Im a software developer, I write computer programs. It is a job that requires creativity and yet meticulous attention to detail.
