The Medway Little Theatre is currently showing A Streetcar Named Desire. Dates: 5 October until 12 October A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams: Winner of the Pullitzer, international fame and acclaim, both as a world class film, and as a stage play, directed by Lawrence Olivier, with an all-star cast. Set in the 1950s, a moving and dramatic play, originally starring Vivienne Leigh, and the film starred Marlon Brando in a stunning lead role. Blanche du Bois has lost her family and the family estate, along with some of her delusions of grandeur, and comes to New Orleans to stay with her married sister, Stella and her brutish husband. Her famous last words : “I have always depended on the kindness of strangers”. What are you waiting for, go and book those tickets! Please note - this play is not suitable for children
