The Message from the Quran: The Prophet Mohammed said: Islam began as a stranger and would become a stranger once more! This is true Islam did begin as a stranger because it came amongst people who were steeped in ignorance and idolatory. Although they were educated people and they considered themselves as great poets, but they followed a very pagan like culture. And also they had no prior knowledge of the scripture like the Christian and the Jews. For these reasons they were very reluctant in accepting Islam. (To the pagan Arabs Islam was a stranger. Islam came in this world to bring peace and unity. In order to achieve this we must believe in: Allah as the One True God; Opposing oppression; Equality justice and rights for all; Unity. The pagan Arabs had no knowledge of the previous Scriptures of God thus making them ignorant of the One True God and His Laws. They worshipped idols which killed spiritual growth in them so they became immoral and barbaric - thus losing all sight of humanity.)
