The Migration -------------------------- EXIF: Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 24-105 lens, f/6.3, 1/250, ISO 100, Exposure Bias: -0.33 step, WB: Cloudy Masai Mara never fails to enthrall you. All you need to have is a photographers eye; that pre-visualization which can get you some stunning images. This is one of my favorite shots from the park. While we were tracking Cheetah, the weather turned bad and it started raining. We had to close the roof of the safari vehicle. And then I noticed that Sun had found a small window in thick clouds through which it was creating that magical golden light. All I needed was a frame which could create the magic. I opened the roof while it was still raining and saw this wonderful scene where Wildebeest were migrating and passing through a lone tree. All it took me was a couple of seconds to compose and click. With my camera gear getting wet I could not risk it with trying more compositions. Wildebeest have this peculiar tendency to move in a straight line while migrating and they really make a great spectacle to watch.
