The Ministry of Works and Infrastructure wishes to advise the general public that construction of the Valencia Bypass Road will commence on 30th October, 2013. Construction vehicles and equipment will enter and leave the site at: 1) Silica Road onto the Eastern Main Road (Long Stretch) 2) Barbuda Road onto Antigua Road 3) Onto the Eastern Main Road in the vicinity of Kangalee street In view of the above, motorists are advised of the following:- Please proceed with caution and observe all directional signs and barriers. Please comply with instructions from Police Officers/flagmen on site to facilitate the safe flow of traffic in an orderly manner. Please be aware of heavy equipment entering and exiting the site. Motorists should drive at a reduced speed on approaching the site entry/exit locations.
