The Ministry of devolution and planning together with The Uwezo Fund Oversight Board undertook cheque issuance in Kajiado West County in the first official ceremony presided by Planning Principal Secretary Eng Peter Mangiti. Mr Mangiti issued cheques amounting to Ksh 68 million to various groups in Kajiado County from Uwezo fund, Ksh7.7 million from Women Enterprise Fund and another ksh12.8 million from Youth Enterprise Development FunArea MP Moses ole Sakuda urged his constituents to seek government services from the newly established Huduma centre saying that it will save them the trouble of travelling long distances to Kajiado and Nairobi for government services. Uwezo Fund CEO Wilfred Buyema cautioned beneficiaries to use the loans wisely noting that it is a revolving fund that has to be paid back.
