The Mt.Hamiguitan Range Wildlife Sanctuary was yesterday inscribed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO during a meeting of the World Heritage Committee in Doha, Quatar. Its the sixth World Heritage site in the country after the Cordillera Rice Terraces (Luzon), the Puerto Princesa Underground River (Palawan), the Tubbataha Reef (Sulu Sea), the historic town of Vigan (Luzon) and the Baroque Churches of the Philippines. This is great news for Mindanao and for the Philippines.
