The NBA is a joke. Dan Gilbert, is a joke. Four years ago he cried about how players have too much control and how the power was shifting with players joining each other and teaming up to win. Dan Gilbert was one of the main reasons the NBA went into a lockout and because of that reason. Now, the same guy that cried about players having too much control and joining up to win, did just that. More on this later. Heres where I get pissed. The Cavs have gotten 3 of the last 4 number one picks, in a draft system where you have to win the lottery and have only a certain percentage of a chance to win it. This year they had a 1.7% chance to win the lottery. AND THEY WON! Then LeBron magically opts out of his contract with the Heat to go back to Cleveland. Are you kidding me!? It gets better. My favorite team is the Sixers. They legitimately suck. The only way for teams like this to get good and competitive is to be bad and get a high draft pick to help out in the future. Now the NBA wants to change the draft lottery because of teams like the Sixers being bad to get good. No one mentions the fact that the Sixers lost 26 straight games and STILL didnt end up with a worse record than the Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics, and Spurs did this years ago and the league had no problem, but when the Sixers do it, oh boy, we have to do something about this! Why dont you do something about teams getting 3 of the last 4 number one draft picks! I hate to believe conspiracies but the NBA totally rigged the draft this year. Not only that but the Cavs traded their 2013 number one and their 2014 number one pick and a 2015 first rounder (protected) because theyll probably get the number one for that pick as well to the Timberwolves for Kevin Love. If a team is mediocre theyll get middle of the draft picks every year and continue to be mediocre. How is a team ever supposed to be anything other than mediocre if big named free agents will never sign with those teams? Teams have to take advantage of what system gives them if they want to be good. Seriously why does the league want the same 6 teams competing at the end of every season? Thats just boring and unfair. This is the end of my rant. If you dont want to read it the main point is that the NBA sucks and I hate the Cleveland Cavaliers and Dan Gilbert.
