The NCC Foundation Office is now accepting applications for the Woudstra Scholarship. This $1,000 scholarship has been established to encourage non-traditional students to pursue a post-secondary education and improve his or her employment skills. To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must have completed at least one semester at NCC, have a GPA of 3.0, and be a non-traditional student enrolled in full-time classes. To apply, please fill out the scholarship application found at nwicc.edu/alumni-community/donate/scholarships.aspx or pick up an application at the NCC Foundation Office. A Letter of Recommendation from a previous employer, instructor or someone who knows the candidate must also be submitted. This letter should reflect the desire of the candidate to pursue higher education and passion for the program he or she is enrolled in. All applications need to be turned in to the NCC Foundation Office by December 19 to be eligible. Please let me know if you have any questions!
