The NG15 has now headed south to Kernow, the Hybrid SR&RL 2-6-2 - TopicsExpress

The NG15 has now headed south to Kernow, the Hybrid SR&RL 2-6-2 has had a new gas feed made as the original was leaking and dangerous, the gas tank being in th etender with a flexible connection to the jet holder. The regulator servo which had stripped its gears has been replaced by a metal geared one and as I write the clack valve is pickling in citric acid after getting a bit clogged up with limescale. This loco will hopefully be hitching a ride back to the South West after Llanfair Show, so the owner can collect from 70 miles away rather than 380miles. The Darjeeling B Class is now sorted with radio, Summerlands chuffpipe and has been embellished with a set of NB worksplates, 804 numberplates, Queen of the Hills nameplates and NF/Hindu initials which I had spare. Just have to rebind it to the owners transmitter when he collects it. Next: Full radio on a Leader!
