The NSA claims it’s not recording our phone calls. But one - TopicsExpress

The NSA claims it’s not recording our phone calls. But one whistleblower says that’s exactly what they’re doing. To nearly ALL our calls… At an investigative journalism conference in London, former NSA code breaker William Binney claimed that the agency is lying, and it really is recording and storing at least 80 percent of all the audio calls in the world. Not just the metadata: the actual phone calls. Binney said it’s no accident that at least 80 percent of global fiber optic cables are routed through the US. He believes the NSA’s ultimate aim is “total population control.” Bear in mind, though, Binney has no hard evidence to back that up. Unlike Edward Snowden, he didn’t take a lot of documents with him when he left the NSA. But he was on the inside. I say if there’s any truth to this, and the NSA is recording our calls, first, they should be forced to stop it. And then, whoever made that decision should have to sit down and listen to every last recorded phone call between all the 14-year-old girls in the world.
