The NSW RFS has issued a Total Fire Ban for the Upper Central West Plains and North Western today (Monday 27/10) and a Fire Weather Warning for the North Western and Upper Central West Plains fire areas. Weather Situation: A vigorous trough extends across New South Wales today associated with hot, dry and very windy conditions over most of the state. Ahead of the trough winds will be northeast to northwesterly tending south to southwesterly behind the change. Dry thunderstorms are possible over much of state in the vicinity of the trough.
