The NWS in jacksonville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for: southeastern flagler county in northeast Florida Until 445 pm edt. At 357 pm edt, national weather service meteorologists were tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail, and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. This storm was located 18 miles southwest of bunnell, moving northeast at 10 mph. Other locations in the warning include but are not limited to palm coast, flagler beach and bunnell. Precautionary/preparedness actions, For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of your home or business. This storm has the potential to cause serious injury and significant damage to property. Report severe weather or damage to the nearest law enforcement agency or your county emergency management.
