The National Campaign Committee of the Aam Aadmi Party, after due consultation and deliberation, has decided to reconstitute the Tamilnadu State Campaign Committee and appoint the following members to this committee: 1. David Barunkumar – Convener – Working in the field of microfinance for rural women, former President of the JNU (New Delhi) Students Union. 2. J. Prabhakar – Social activist and founder of a confederation of NGO’s in Tamilnadu. 3. Ram Subramanium – Social activist, Gandhian scholar, long-time worker on rural issues. 4. Xavier Vas – A leader of the fishing community in Tamilnadu. 5. Jayaram Venkatesan – Social activist working with small and marginal farmers on agricultural issues. This state campaign committee has the mandate to strategise and execute the states election campaign. It will be the pre-eminent committee in the state, vested with the authority to carry out all that is necessary to successfully contest elections in the state. All earlier party committees and teams operating in the state will be accountable to this campaign committee.
