The North Tyneside Surridge Sport indoor league kick started again last night with two well fought matches, played in brilliant spirit. Match 1 was between Oddfellows A and Kings Oddballs. Winning the toss and bowling first, Oddies were able to restrict the Oddballs to 119. In return Oddies were able to make a game of it but were always slightly behind the rate, ending on 98, The Oddballs winning by 19 runs. A debut win for the lads. There was also a debut victory for the Eaga Old Boys after their comprehensive 62 run win over Oddies B. A great way to start the 10 week league, games recommence next week wit Percy Main taking on Eage Old Boys at 8pm and Kings Oddballs meet Oddfellows B at 9pm.
