The Northern Lights Health Foundation is launching its new Healing Halls Art Program. Having art visible in hospitals is believed to support the well-being of patients, families and hospital staff, as well as reduce stress and create a positive, healing environment. Starting in April 2014 the Northern Lights Health Centre will come to life with art from local artists of Wood Buffalo. Artists have the opportunity to display and sell their art in the halls of the Health Centre, with a percentage of proceeds from sales donated to the Health Foundation.
