The Now and Then Show #7 from October 10, 1985 The seventh Now & Then Show, themed the “Libra Show” was produced in Mendocino, CA on October 10 and aired on October 12, 1985. This seventh show starred Odd Bob Avery and co-host, Meg Harris. The music was provided by the Now & Then Orchestra featuring irrepressible bassist Bugs Anderson, guitarist supreme Garth Beckington with the addition of saxophonist John Bush, guitarist Michael Ward and drummer Sean Ward. The featured guests were Libras who included: artist Ken Michaelson, Albion River Inn co-owner, Peter Wells, masseuse, Judith Fuente and local businessman/artist, Matt Rowland. Hairdresser. Mendocino High School students also aired three of their video productions. The special musical guests were Pedal Steel Guitarist Monique Timberlake and then later, British Ex-pat Rocker Richard “Fienbop” Fienburgh. Bugs, Garth and Mike L Evans continued co-writing satirical advertisements for the breaks in the show including the Famous Cemeteries of the World Tour and dangerous Golf Courses of the World from Terminal Travel with Sam Sturgeon and Rob Cheatem.
