The OECS Business Council under the mandate of the Governor, Honorable Sir Dwight Venner has instructed each member of the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) territories to form local chapters in each island. The OECS Business Council is a private-sector representative body that seeks to visualize and identify the challenges and threats faced by the ECCU, while identifying opportunities for the growth and development in the region. The Council’s mission is to be the premier business organization in the region where collaboration with governments, regional and international institutions, creates an environment that facilitates business so that the private sector becomes the engine of growth. As the representative of Anguilla under the Interim OECS Business Council, Mr. Keithley F.T. Lake has invited several supporting members of the Anguilla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACOCI), the Anguilla Tourist Board, the Anguilla Hotel & Tourism Association and other members of the Business Community to be a part of the Anguilla Business Council.
