The Oaks is investigating the possibility of having a basketball team through the Trident Basketball League. The number of teams will depend on the number of 5th through 8th grade students interested in participating. The basketball program will have to be self-supporting so the cost will be approximately $150-200 per student which includes league membership and fees, coach stipend, and uniform. The game season runs December through March and games are on Saturdays and Sundays. Practice times will be coordinated with archery since the seasons run simultaneously. Please let us know if your child would be interested in trying out for a team. We will not move forward with this endeavor if we dont have enough interest that would make it financially and skillfully feasible. If interested, please tell name, grade, and his/her age on 9/1/2014. Also, let us know if you would be interested in being an assistant or team mom!
