The Ole Hedge Creeper round up of the Pass It On Young Sports - TopicsExpress

The Ole Hedge Creeper round up of the Pass It On Young Sports year, With only one show left to do before we go into our winter hunting season. Sat at the helm of this mighty ship I have had to steer this ole girl through some pretty vast waters over this last year, Some have been stormy with huge waves and squalls that would have sunk a lesser vessel. But not this ole girl she has been built with the finest of Somersets English Oak that we grew from a tiny acorn and thus this mighty oak has grown tall and strong and made this mighty Pass It On Young Sports Ship what she is today. As I said right from the start with me at her helm I will never allow anything to deter us off the course set before us with a compass and the lord as our guide, The Young Sports and their families will always come first, Some crew have risen to that challenge and shone as strong ship mates and crew making life long friendships along the way, Others just like in the grain mill fell to the side as we sorted the wheat from the chaff as they never had what it took to be a Pass It On Young Sports ship mate. Some of the seas have been calm and welcoming as our taster days have gone from strength to strength, With the ever growing number of families and Young Sports flocking to them like moths to the flame of our lantern at our stern of this mighty ship, These taster days being well supported by our sponsors some of the finest companies out there all giving their support with an open heart, Thus filling the ships hold with reserves a plenty for our instructors to use and inspire the next generation of field-sportsmen and women. Indeed our instructors being a solid crew who help sail this ship so magnificently and proud, For without these unsung heros the ship would sit in port unable to set sail on some of the most amazing voyages and adventures. The ports we dock in (venues and shows) all welcoming us with open arms with pure heart wanting us to use their harbours to inspire their local Young Sports and beyond, All when we leave are sad to see us set sail as our visits are all too short as a day or two passes way to quickly, This year our quest was to make every discipline accessible not just to the Young Sports and their families, No it was to make it all accessible to all who wish to sail with us weather able bodied on not it matters not what colour creed race religion gender age etc you are we will overcome any obstacle so that anyone can take part. Accessibility being our big push this year and WOW what can I say but we blew any prejudice out of the water with our big guns and inspire a new generation of field-sportsmen and women of all ages and abilities. Thus being why our magnificent sails were always full with the wind at our backs as the lord sent his mighty breath to fill them and power this mighty ships sails, And why we sailed so magnificently and proud through stormy waters and plain sailing on calm seas. So I say this ship mates, Stand tall stand proud give yourselves a massive HOOOORAAAAA as you helped sail this Mighty Pass It On Young Sports Ship built from the finest of Somersets English Oak so gallantly with honour and courage, And with me as your Captain I could not be any more proud of each and everyone one of you involved from the crew the Young sports or our sponsors for we proved our motto stands tall and strong to the entire world, Proving why Pass It On young Sports is still the ORIGINAL and still the BEST at what we do. TOGETHER WE CAN INSPIRE ;-)
