The movie has helped all sides of the triad in ways I never would have imagined and has opened the hearts and minds of many who before just didn’t “get it.” One criticism, however, has always been the Hollywood ending, when Jack and I walk arm and arm into the sunset. Searching …, the sequel to The Other Mother, is about what happened after the sunset, when we faced all the healing that needed to happen and the difficult issues that needed to be resolved in order to forge a life-long relationship.
