The Outlook Foundation announced today that AmeriGas donated nearly a hundred gently used computers supporting the goals of the Foundation. This donation makes possible placing additional computers in the hands of children and military personnel. “AmeriGas was proud to partner with The Outlook Foundation to make this donation possible, said James Palkovic, Operations Vice President for AmeriGas. Our staff was excited to be a part of this project. We share the foundations goal of supporting our local communities and look forward to working with them in the future.” The Outlook Foundation’s mission is providing donated computers, which are then refurbished and reallocated to under-resourced children, siblings separated in foster care, and deploying members of the military who are not able to physically see their loved ones for sometimes months on end. By being able to have access to computer, it makes communicating just a little easier during these separations. “We warmly thank AmeriGas for this donation to help us continue our mission,” stated Co-Founder Christine Iasiuolo of the Outlook Foundation. “Our philosophy is that all children should have the right to an equal education, and that military members and veterans should have computers to communicate and fulfill basic living needs. Together, we can work to have an even greater impact upon our community, making the world a distinctly better place for our children and families to live. ” One of the Outlook Foundations’ early recipients stated, “I can look back and truly see how much I was blessed by the Outlook Foundation and how their gift impacted my life so immensely.
