The PPACA was never about finding a way to ensure Americans could obtain affordable health insurance, period. It was passed and is being enforced to ensure a steady revenue stream to the traitors in DC. If it was so great, there would be no need for any mandates because people would flock to it in droves to obtain it. Politicians wouldnt exempt themselves from it. The 0 wouldnt issue over a 1,000 waivers to his political buddies. The mandates are in place to guarantee the government obtains revenue from the private sector to help feed their addictive spending habit regardless of whether or not an employer provides or an individual purchases insurance. See, the government doesnt produce ANYTHING. They only spend what they suck out of taxpayers or borrow from China, Japan, Saudi Arabia and the rest of them through treasury sales. The PPACA is nothing more than a revenue grab in the guise of something that was passed for the public good. Oh and since the Supreme Court ruled that the individual mandate could only stand as a tax despite the 0s persistent assertion that it wasnt a tax, so much for that promise that those earning under $250K a year wont see a tax hike. Of course that was laughable to begin with. Pay your tax or buy insurance, peasant because you have no choice. God gave man free will. The government flipped God the bird.
