The Palestinians know they are doomed in the long run if they do not resist. The default button will always go back to the slow death setting. When I came back from Vietnam as an Army medic, I realized I was the monster in Vietnam. Israel will lose this war in the long term, because eventually the world will realize that Israel has become the very thing they hated under Nazi Germany. I feel sorry for Jews around the world who let Israel define what it is to be a Jew. The Holocaust was a horrifying event in world history. But, if Israel continues to slaughter the Palestinians, the world will eventually become less sympathetic about the tragedy of the Holocaust. Anti-Semitism will once again rear its head. Israel will back themselves into a corner as the world becomes more aware that the Palestinians are the victims. If Anne Frank were to come back from the dead, she would be waving a Palestinian flag.
