The Patriots have made a flurry of roster moves today in order to get down to the 53 man limit by the 6pm deadline. Rob Gronkowski will be on the active roster, meaning he is eligible to play as soon as he is healthy, rather than going on the PUP list, which would have forced him to miss the 1st 6 games. Tim Tebow was among the notable cuts, showing that even if a team loves a player, it is all about whether you can play and help that team win. I am not sure if another team will give him another chance to play QB, as any team that brought him in, would have an immediate circus and QB controversy. Those are issues the Pats did not face, as Brady is definitely the starter and the team always handles the media better than most.
