The Peace Corps contingent made quite an impression during the Capital Pride parade this weekend, taking home the Elizabeth Taylor Award for Best Non-Profit! More than 100 Peace Corps staff and RPCVs, including Chief of Staff Stacy Rhodes, proudly marched with their country flags alongside the Peace Corps float. Organized by Spectrum, the Peace Corps LGBTQA employee resource group, the float featured a recycled bottle school, a tippy tap handwashing station, and a community tire garden to illustrate how Peace Corps supports this year’s Capital Pride theme, “Build Our Bright Future!” Find #PeaceCorpsPride events in your area 1.usa.gov/SLvIBx
