The Peace Friday, December 19 from 2014. Year VIII - National Edition THE KEYS OF WISDOM: Those Who Do not Respect Your Time also not Respect his wisdom. When God Wants Protect You, It Removes A Person Of Your Life. Mike Murdock WORD OF THE DAY: Figueira Seca In the morning, as they passed, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. Peter remembered him, and said to Jesus, Master See The fig tree you cursed has withered!. Jesus answered, Have faith in God. I assure you that if anyone says to this mountain, Go up and cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that those things that says, it shall be done to him. So I say to you: Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your sins. (Mark 11.20-26;). 1) - [Zechariah said] Praise the Lord, the God of Israel, for he has visited and redeemed his people. He promoted horn of salvation for us in the line of his servant David (as he had said by all his holy prophets of old). (Luke 1: 68-70). REFLECTION: What God has done in Jesus is not a surprise. Yes, it was unexpected, but the tips and prophecies of his coming are found throughout the Old Testament. The divine prophets having spoken of it long ago. But more than the prophets, the coming of Jesus is God being true to his word. The coming of Jesus is the fulfillment of Gods promises. That is why Paul can say that all the promises of God find their Yes in Jesus, and that is through Jesus that the Amen is spoken (2 Cor. 1). In Jesus, God comes, God serves, God cares, God saves, God redeems, and God keeps his promises. 2) - He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (John 7:38). REFLECTION: When we believe in the Lord, and invite you to be part of our life, we receive the Holy Spirit begins to transform our character and influence our attitudes. Abandoned the old sinful nature, we began to give good testimony of the Lord, and all that promotes peace and joy in our hearts. The mouth speaks what the heart is full, so if your word is bitter, without hope, without joy, and you are not building the next, means you need to seek intimacy with the Spirit, and straighten his ways, so that living water of rivers of the Lord to flow through you. ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* And the donkey spoke: Then the Lord opened Balaams eyes, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, wielding his sword. Balaam bowed and prostrated himself with his face to the earth. (Numbers 22:31). Balaam basically a prophet of rent, was on his way to do something that was contrary to Gods will. While riding a donkey to go do what God told him to do, an angel of the Lord, holding a sword, intervened. Balaam did not see the angel, but his donkey saw him, and he refused to go through the angel. At this point an amazing thing happened: the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, so he could speak. But what is most amazing to me is that Balaam answered and began to argue with the animal! I think that the donkey was winning the argument. Meanwhile, the angel was still there, blocking the way of Balaam. Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with his sword drawn. Balaam bowed and fell on his face. Now he was ready to listen. Now, he was willing to pay attention to the direction the Lord had for him. Often we do not realize and we have our eyes open to see the angels of the Lord who are around us to guide us, protect us and block our way when we try to go against the will of God. We should not argue. Instead, we should pay attention to the way that our Lord shows us. QUOTE OF THE DAY: What we call results are beginnings. Ralph Waldo Emerson CLEAR: Bible Reading 2 Chronicles 7:14 PRAYER: Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up (Luke 18.1). Prayer is the means by which we talk to God. He is always waiting for the Christian to listen to your prayer and respond to it. Unfortunately, many to overlook. Perhaps there are impediments that lead them to not pray, as lack of faith (James 1.6-7), unwillingness to forgive (Mark 11:25) or unconfessed sin. What happens when we fail to pray? The Christian life without prayer loses its power. It becomes a routine to go to church and, as someone wrote, we become Christians without the strength that comes from God through prayer. As a result we did not receive what God has in store for those who take time to talk to him. When we do not pray, give place to the devil, who always search overthrow our spiritual life, and weaken the illusion of being self-sufficient. Jesus warned his disciples to do so at the most critical moment in the history of all of them, just before his arrest: Pray that you do not fall into temptation (Luke 22:46). However, it seems that they do not give account of danger, so much that soon after all fled before the enemy. Jesus, in turn, was strengthened in that situation to call for help in prayer to the Father. Also read the Bible text that follows the highlighted verse in which Jesus illustrates the importance of prayer. Let me ask you: how is your prayer life? No one can answer that question unless you. A life of intimacy with God is the result of daily prayer that drove him in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Search me, O God ... and prove me (Psalm 139.23) was Davids prayer. He wanted to know if there was anything that was preventing him to live in Gods presence. The Christian is richly blessed when you have an intimate and daily life with God in prayer. Prayer is the switch that removes difficulties. PRAYER OF OUR FATHER: Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come; let it be thy will be done on earth as in heaven; the our daily bread Give us this day; And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors; and lead us not into temptation; more deliver us from evil; {For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever, Amen}. SPECIAL MESSAGE; My Christmas wish: Leticia Thompson Wow! There are so many! And I could list them would take hours and hours, but Im sure that deep down everyone summarize with one thing: in love! This love is the foundation and the end of all things. The world is unbalanced why men have more peace itself. They accumulate over time resentment in the drawers of the soul and then no longer know how to get rid of them. It is strange to think that people keep voluntarily things that bother you, as if it were let them important. Prefer to keep the pain to give the tight embrace of free and who knew leave behind the bitterness. It is that many people have a contrary idea of life. They think they continuously charge the things of the past leave the large, when in fact it weighs so much that when they reach the end of life, arrive curved. Never think that it is better to embrace the breaking of arms and be an example worth to wait following example. They speak of love, hope, happiness and peace, but do not want to be the source from which all this can flow. Want, if possible, enjoy. They want to be better people, but without renouncing the forgiveness that was not asked. But nobody may want to change and stay the same. The light that is within us need to shine, need to stand out. Im sure if Jesus could choose a gift this Christmas, he would choose to drop the barriers that separate people. He is love and where there are barriers, Love can not cross.
