The Perth running community has just become poorer over night, with the departure of Brandon Hargreaves back home to the UK. After an amazing 36:10 yesterday in the HBF 12km Brandon has set yet another bench mark for other WA athletes to chase. Brandon (only 21) is an accomplished Triathlete, Duathlete (4th at the World Junior Champs in 2012), Track athlete (29:47 at the Zatopek 10 2013), Cross Country athlete (3rd in the U20 8km Adelaide 2012) and road racer (29:57 2013 Gold Coast Marathon 10km). All your training partners and fans alike wish you well in all your future endeavours Brandon. Youve helped the runners of Perth set their standards higher by your example.
