The Philippine government focus is improving infrastructure by spending 2.5% of GDP this year and 5.0% of GDP by 2016. Also, Tourism is one the focus of this Aquino Government which set to create sustainable revenue for our future but creation of high value human resources was not given enough considerations. High value professionals is needed by the Philippines in reaching its potential because it is only through education that we can compete in the global arena. Those nations that have huge number of high value professionals was able to create massive wealth because its human resources was able to invent and innovate products to be sold worldwide.By 2015, our country will be part of ONE ASEAN but we are not ready. Most of our labor force are unskilled,less educated and uncompetitive. On the business side, our big multinational corporations have huge capital, select the best and the brightest professionals in the field and build their capabilities.
