When i asked Totol Batuhan what happens if Congress finally kicks out Committee on Silence member Cong. Bebot Abellanosa, here is his unedited answer via SMS: Assuming the vacancy happens, it will remain so unless special elections are called which is remote because the elections are too close. However, becauseof the remedies he is afforded and the delays that come with such, not to mention that congress will most likely just sit on the ombud order unless there is intense public pressure, 2016 will come without butbut being kicked out. Thats the political reality of this matter. But for me, I will carry this on until the end of the criminal trial and justice is meted. In fact I want him to go to the SC so that there can be a definitive ruling on this kind of grave misconduct.
