The Philippines has one of the largest groups of American Veterans. The veterans Hospital in the Philippines, was set up here because of the number of Veterans. The country should know the Veterans Hospital in Manila, operates differently than the Hospitals in the US. Many of the disabled Veterans are native to the Philippines. This hospital was designed to provide the Veterans here with unequal services based upon racism. When I arrived in Manila and went to register, the first thing out of the clerks mouth was, we cant provide you the full services your are entitled to. I said what do you mean? She replied it is due to budget restraints. We are the same Veterans that served honorably. Is our service less honorable because we live here? How can they have a budget problem? The President of the United States just requested an additional 2 billion dollars, to support his amnesty plan for illegal invaders of the United States. I worked more than forty years and paid taxes, It would be nice if some of my tax dollars were diverted from taking care of invading illegals and used to take care of us that served this country. I have sent a letter to the President asking him, if I our service is not equal to the treatment he provides illegal aliens. This VA Hospital was created under racist conditions. We need your support to correct this injustice, let your elected official know this must change. Tell Mr. Obama to direct some of our tax dollars, to take care of the men and women that put it all on the line for this country. This Hospital is part of the Veterans Administration and shouldnt be operated differently.
