The Police have identified properties in and around the Bicester area that are being targeted for possible burglary by criminal gangs. These people identify houses by using a series of symbols on the pavement outside usually made with Flour or Chalk. These markings indicate the vulnerability of the property. A number of properties in Campbell Close and Bernwood Rd have had some markings left on the pavement outside their property in flour over the weekend. They were mostly crosses, dots & circles which mean those properties have been marked for a potential burglary. If during any fire fighting or community safety activity you come across these symbols on the pavement please inform TVP via control or report it by phoning 101.
