The Power of Three 8 December 2014 The three remaining teams - TopicsExpress

The Power of Three 8 December 2014 The three remaining teams in the FSA Playoffs combined for a 37-5 regular season and playoff record. The Crusaders may have peeked a game too soon, however, as they posted the most points scored for the year by any team (189.58) during their bye week and left 21 points on the bench. They will now face the highest scoring team of the year, the Stone Cold Thrillers, who dominated the Coyotes by 43 points. Of the remaining three teams, the Hookers are the only ones who have not received a bye yet in the playoffs. Per the regulations for this season, they will receive their bye in the semi-final round and will automatically march into the finals to face the winner between the Crusaders and Stone Cold Thrillers. The Hookers made easy work of their Southwest Scorpion Regional counterpart, Diablos, with a 158-118 victory. The semi-final game between the Crusaders and Thrillers will be an exciting one. The Thrillers have a slight advantage averaging 144.62 points to the Crusaders 136.96 for the season. This semi-final game should be one for the ages as both teams are fighting to represent their respective Regions; Crusaders in the Great Lakes Hydras and the Thrillers in the South Atlantic Dragons, in the finals. The two teams share three players on their respective rosters and could be a big part of why both teams are now in the semi-final game. Good luck to both teams, and congratulations to the Hookers for reaching Fantasy Bowl XIV.
