The Power of time as a Seed Matthew 25:1-12 The currency of this planet is time and it is your attention to the right things (right people, information, activities and so on) that you use to sign the cheque to withdraw from the bank of life. For instance, if you spend three hours in church or somewhere and you did not pay attention to what was been said, you did not withdraw anything from the three hours and the three hours are wasted. Similarly, if you do something consistently for three years, it will form you in a particular way. The way you use your time determines the outcome of your life. When you don’t use time well, God will use time to punish you but if you use time well, God use time to reward and build you up somewhere. He can cut time short for you if you use your time wisely; what took others fifty years to do, He will cut the time short for you to do it in ten years. No one can do anything about time, no matter what you do: dye your hair, do face lift, tummy tuck and the like, it makes no difference, time is going; only God can slow and stop time. Time goes in trickles; you must trap your time by the minute and the hour. Real life on earth flows in the river of time. Life is packaged in pockets of time and what you are doing with your time determines what you are going to become. You must always get the worth of the time you spend everywhere. Bible says “buy the truth and sell it not”. You buy the truth with time. The folly of the foolish virgins in the bible was not in their salvation but in their relationship to time because of the following: 1. They knew where oil was being sold 2. They had money to buy it 3. They had the time to have gone but they did not, that was why they were foolish. No matter what you are looking to become in the future, you have time to do it now.
