The Prayer Closet Almighty God, author of all life and of each life, we praise you for this world in which You have called us be your people. Lord we thank you for giving us the grace to believe in you and your Word even in the midst of the storms of life, providing a place of rest for us. When faced with that which is seemingly impossible, Lord You remind us each day, that with You all things are possible. We make petition upon Your Throne of Grace, this day, Lord GOD, to find rest for our weary souls. Lord, Your yoke is wholesome, not harsh, hard, sharp or pressing, but comfortable, gracious and pleasant; and Your burden is light and easy to be borne. Therefore we cast our burdens on You, dear Lord; releasing the weight of them, confident in Your great ability to sustain us, assured by faith, that You will never allow us to be moved, made to slip or fail. In the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, we do pray. Amen.
