The Prayer Project is seeking volunteers! “…Join us in our struggle by praying to God for us.” Romans 15:30 Would you like to pray powerfully for Catholic Central Jr/Sr High School students and staff? Members of our Catholic Central family (alumni, parents, teachers, and friends) are committing to do just that. Today’s youth face many challenges and struggles. Through The Prayer Project, the Catholic Central community supports our youth and the staff who serve them – one by one, by name. The rosary is a special symbol of prayer. Every Catholic Central Jr/Sr High School student makes a personalized set of rosary beads with his or her initials, and these rosaries are kept at Catholic Central. Prayer Project volunteers contact the CCHS main office to sign out a rosary and a prayer list with the names of the students and staff. Then they pray for the students and/or staff members, using the list as a guide. There is no set schedule—your prayers are a blessing whenever you can offer them. Return the rosary to the CCHS main office anytime before May 1st, and feel free to sign out another if you would like to continue your prayers for us. Prayer volunteers of all faiths are welcome! The rosary is a much-loved form of prayer for many Catholics. However, you don’t need to pray “the rosary” to be a part of The Prayer Project—any and all prayers for our students and staff are welcome. These rosaries represent the prayers and support of their Catholic Central family for them and for their classmates, friends, teachers, staff, and coaches. Interested in volunteering?
