The Pre-Schools topic this term is Occupations. To support them with this the local fire brigade has provided a box of resources which is named Elfs (early learning fire safety). The box contains 5 children size fire outfits, games, fire alarm and a book . The box has been designed in the hope that they can support professionals in achieving a basic foundation knowledge of not only fire and road safety for children in the early years foundation stages but encompassing along the way additional messsges building on a childs all round education for life, health and learning.
