The President of Egypt Morsy gave a speech in which he refused to step down and gave no alternative. Let us back off again and analyze this situation, I am not going to talk about the country’s economic plight which Morsy contributed to or neglected, I am going to focus on other major events.: 1- Morsi was elected by a very slim majority 51% (about 12 million) and there was a widespread news that his Muslim Brotherhood organization bought the election in many places. There was no international supervision. Today over 25 million Egyptians signed a petition to recall him, and tens of millions are demonstrating against him everywhere in major Egyptian cities. 2- After Morsy was elected he started appointing his relatives, friends, and associates from the Muslim Brotherhoods and others to key positions and fired many existing figures. 3- He appointed a committee of around 100 members to draft a new constitution and most of them were from the Muslim Brotherhoods or sympathizers and most Egyptians were against such committee but he refused to listen. 4- His committee came up with a draft constitution that suits their retarded culture and there was never an independent honest referendum to gratify his version of the constitution. What makes the situation worse there is no Egyptian Congress to ratify such constitution. 5- He appointed most of the members of his Shura council (may be called Egyptian Senate but not really a Senate)and they all kiss hands to him. 6- The Muslim brotherhoods freed criminals from jail, set fires in many places, and killed numerous Egyptians, and formed unlawful vigilantes to spread the fear into Egyptians . 7- They gave support to Hamas and were in bed with them about creating violence in case Morsy is forced to resign. 8- He compromised Egypt’s National Security by sharing intelligence with his relatives, friends, and other Muslim Brotherhood members and who knows what else. 9- Morsy never had a plan to revive Egypt, but his plan was focused on enforcing his grip on power and turning Egypt into a ruthless dictatorship under the blanket cover if an Islamic State. 10- He ruled as a substandard leader and gave many speeches in which there was no logic or constructive outcome. 11- He declared that he has absolute power and his orders are not subject to recall. 12- He neutralized the judicial system, and took advantage of the fluid situation of no checks and balances to strengthen his grip on power and make more decisions that went unchallenged. 13- He never listened to the opposition or to any moderate faction of the society. Morsy needs a mental and psychological examination because he does not understand how democracy works or how to lead a nation. A leader is responsible for every citizen’s safety and welfare. Morsy failed to enforce this. He is in a state of denial and believes he is a victim of the people marching against him or what he claims a coupe d’etat by the army. People like this are very dangerous to any society and should never be allowed to hold any key positions. My advice to the Higher Military Council and the Defense Minister of Egypt is to stand tall, firm, and bold, go ahead and relocate the military machine to encircle Morsy’s Presidential Palace and remove him once the deadline passé at 5 PM Egypt’s time (11 AM Eastern time in the USA), declare state of emergency at where his supporters and those whom he bought with money and false religion reside and are planning violence if they show any criminal acts, violence or suspicious moves. In the meantime spell out a plan to lead the country in a peaceful manner until a new election is held Morsy’s actions and attitude has lost him his legitimacy and support among Egyptians and created a situation of no return.
