The Prevention of Domestic Violence Bill is coming up for debate in parliament this week. The committee has eliminated important provisions of the bill such as the need for shelter, protection orders, speedy hearings, closed court rather than open court. Please call your MPs in Kenya to make sure they understand the importance of making sure they support a holistic law that reflects the recommendations below. Thank you.
