The Pro-Israel or Hebrew Roots Tribe: Rengcaa Khumi - TopicsExpress

The Pro-Israel or Hebrew Roots Tribe: Rengcaa Khumi People According to the 2012 Report of Asia Development Bank [ADB], the poverty in Myanmar are the 25.6% of the 51 millions of the Myanmar population; of these, the poorest State in Myanmar is Chin State, even 73.3% and of these poorest population in Chin State, the Khumi ethnic people who live in Southern Chin State and the Northern Rakhine State is the poorest and the worst, even under poverty - even 70%. My Khumi ethnic people group is the last mission unreached people group in Myanmar. Please have the first priority to help pray and support in any thing God intend you to do for my Khumi people who are the forgotten ethnic group in Myanmar. Please read and see how and why they are forgotten under the poverty. Rencaa Khumi is one one of the Khumi ethnic groups. The mountainous Khumi land is located in the Southern Chin State, the western part of Myanmar on the borders with India and Bangladesh. Khumi land is broadened till to the upper Rakhine State. There are over 500,000 Khumi population in Myanmar with several hundred thousand in India and Bangladesh. Of these, over 50000 is Rengcaa Khumi people. Rengcaa Khumi people is the first people who are the Jewishness in spirit and are also the first Messianic believers in Myanmar. Fellowship of Messianic Believers of Myanmar and Alliance of Jewish Friends of Myanmar are leading today only by the Rengcaa Khumi ethnic people. The people are poorest than any other ethnic groups in Myanmar - in social, economics and education, etc. The area is undeveloped. There was no water supply, no electricity, no means of proper communication or readily available transportation. Drought, starvation, full diseases and food shortage are their unsolvable problems throughout the generations. In the Khumi land in Chin State, over 70% are the Christians and 20% are mostly the Buddhists and 10% animists. But in upper Rakhine State, most of the Khumi people are the Buddhists, 80% the Buddhists and 10% animists and only 10% Christians. The Khumi people group is the final spiritual harvest field in Myanmar and one of the unreached people groups in the world. Khumi people were so underprivileged and unlettered mountain people, without money, living on a barter system, a lucky few possessing flintlock guns, still using some bows and arrows, in the ancient age to be sure. Khumi land is a remote area for from lines of outside communication and so separated culturally from the Burmans of the plains that to this day, 21st century. The Khumi people are not able to change their agricultural life because it leaves untouched that primitive, traditional, unproductive, and unsustainable method of shifting cultivation which we still practice these days. To have one upgraded mission training school combined with the agricultural and health care trainings for social change is a great in need. Slashing, burning, site clearing, soil preparation, tent building, often tilling of weeds, etc keep the farmers always busy. Although it gives them an extra hard work, it yields less and brings less income. They want stations for the missionary works in the unreached Khumi land mission areas. And also to send several more selected Christian young Khumi men and women for further trainings is a great in need for the following fields: Missions, Christian education, health care, and education [especially primary supervision and normal teaching], domestic economy, nutrition and basic agriculture. Khumi land is under development because of lack of education. The highest standard living is not the case for most of the Khumi people. Most of them go to sleep with hunger gnawing at their stomachs. Some Khumi Christians cannot attend the churches even on Sunday as they are seeking their daily food. One week income of the people is lessen than the U.S. one dollar. The people are marginalized and oppressed in the various ways, of these the Christians are the worst. Going on foot for mission outreach is our local conditions. Living in extremely under the poverty line makes the people to see things negatively. However, if the Gospel is saturated in every society, the mind set of poverty and its related social difficulties will be an end. They had many difficulties even to win them to Christ. Most of the children cannot attend their primary educations. We see that the orphans and poor children are more increased than other ethnic groups in Myanmar. The volunteer missionaries from the rural and the remote areas are being served for the Great Commission by taking even boiled bamboo sprouts together with hard works of hill-side cultivation and agriculture. The volunteer missionaries participate also in some social developments because it is rather a consequence, bridge and partner to mission. They are being served as the rural health evangelists, the volunteer teachers of the government private primary and middle schools. Most of the volunteer missionaries are unpaid long-term missionaries and serving by self-help. How Should We Response Them in Love God refused to use violence in any form, either to protect what was good or overthrow what was bad. But God refused to be silent when He saw the needful people. God needs us to help extend His earthly Kingdom to the uttermost parts of the world, even to the unreached Khumi people group in Myanmar. Then it is far easier for us to serve with the Khumi people that hearts will be illuminated, missions will be illuminated, and the LORD will be glorified. Supporting the Blood-crying Mission are indeed taking part in serving the unreached Khumi people in Myanmar. Blood-crying Mission is mainly focusing to the rural areas. Poor unreached families who are animists are easier to come to Christ. God commands us to give a chance to become self sufficient, no longer in need of a hand out - a long term answer. None of us has experienced a peaceful life. The Gospel of God calls for compassion and action to help the poorer people while recognizing and preserving their dignity. Your kind help will empower them to reach out to even more chronically poorer unreached Khumi people. The political structure of the military based government makes the poor people worst. For example, many school teachers, because of low incomes paid by the government, spend more of their teaching hours for private home tuition than school instruction. These teachers earn three or four times, sometimes even more than that, of their monthly salaries. The result is that many poor families from the minority groups cannot afford even for the primary schooling. By this, Myanmar continues to suffer object poverty. Rich and powerful people get richer and stronger while the mass poor and powerless poorer and weaker. 70% of the population in Myanmar are from the rural areas and they are the poor farmers. Civil war between Bamar [who are ruling and majority group and the Buddhists] and the ethnic groups [who are the minority and the Christian groups] is still in Myanmar since 1948, not finish yet completely. They set the Christians as pro-western because they call that the Christianity is the western religion and culture. Please help pray for us. Thank you very much.
