They can choose from either Transformation or Fitter, Faster, Stronger. Explanation Transformation The original and the most popular... A program designed for beginners or members who simply would like more education around making better lifestyle choices to increase their quality of life. WHO IS IT FOR? For members requiring further education designed to inform them on key lifestyle choices Education around improving eating habits and making the right choices, at the right times Education on exercise prescription tailored to their own personal goals... No matter their age and fitness level Support and guidance on dispelling myths around diet and exercise Ability to work out with like-minded and goal orientated people...They do not have to do it all alone WHY CHOOSE THIS CATEGORY? To learn more about the simple ways to change your lifestyle, starting with 12 weeks and then beyond For those members who have started their journey into becoming healthier...in mind and body For those members who have been working out but have stalled or simply lost their way For those members who predominately want to change their body shape and transform their lifestyles Explanation Fitter Faster Stronger A program designed around 12 Workouts of the Week (WOW’s) based on functional movements at maximum intensity (relative to the physical and psychological tolerances of the participant) which will lead to dramatic gains in fitness. MORE DETAIL Intensity is essential for results and is measurable as work/time. The more work you do in less time the more intense the effort. 12 Workouts designed to challenge each member individually... Workouts will be “scaled” to the participants’ individual tolerance, so everyone can challenge themselves as well as others in strength, fitness, agility, speed and flexibility. TWO CATEGORIES WITHIN FITTER FASTER STRONGER Based on feedback from previous participants and the Fitness department within Goodlife, we have developed two categories in the February 2014 Challenge – NOVICE and STANDARD. Both Categories will complete the same workout format, however the exercises & loads will vary based their suitability to each category, NOVICE or STANDARD. STANDARD is just like previous challenges... Gruelling, tough and not for the faint hearted!
