The Prophet (sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam) said, "Anyone who alleviates a Muslim of a worldly distress, Allah will alleviate one of their distresses on the Day of Resurrection; and anyone who eases matters for a hard-pressed person in this world, Allah will make matters easy for them in this world and the Hereafter; and anyone who covers (the faults) of a Muslim in this world, Allah will cover (their faults) in this world and in the Hereafter. Allah supports His Slave as the Slave is supportive of their (Muslim) brother." [Sahih Al-Bukhari]
