The Puhomana Takai Hui of walking around Niue have left the Commercial Centre Alofi at 12 midday, going south... many of different ages young and old they will be battling the hot sun in the afternoon as they go past Tamakautoga and Avatele. But hope when they get past Vaiea and through Hakupu in he evening they will be walking in kool weather especially as they go past Huvalu Forest Conservation during the night. We will wait at Salim Hall, Mutalau for them to have a break, rest before they take the last leg down to Alofi hoping to get there by midday tomorrow. About 50 participating!
