The Pulpit And The Pew!!! Mounting the pulpit after a long time to do His work was almost the best thing that happened to me the last month and the last friday. At the night vigil of St Joshuas Church,it was a day for the youth to anchor the service and upon instruction,I was asked to teach the word! How blessed is it to dwell in Gods word,moulding destinies and raising soldiers for His kingdom.I took the message from Roman 4V17-25 and quickly a bit of Galatians 5 where the fruits of the spirit was emphasised stricto senso.. Oh!How delighted I am to do His work as the Father lay in our hearts to do without condemnation or reproach... I am excited,I cannot hide the joy and a huge gratitude to the Most High to again foster in me the importance of His Service and to Him alone be all the Glory! Now that I do my fathers work and the vine yard is occupied with able bodied men,how shall we translate this into what goes here in our polity? The title of the message lest I forget was A Working ChristianPractically commit your faith into action and make love the first foundation of faith.For without love,it is difficult to exercise faith and to typify this,I took a child whose confidence and trust is lost in his/her parent,no love and no care..How would such child have faith in your promises when u make them. So it is with God and by His word,He establish the importance of love to ones neighbour and to God Almighty Himself! Let affliction not rise the second time says the book of Habaku and by this,I commit this mandate to grace,mercy n strength,power from above to continually add value to His kingdom! It pays better to do all these than loiter around the endless space on earth. This day O Lord,commit my soul to immortality and raise more vessels to glory your Majesty!
