The Red pyramid has smooth downward sloping sides to symbolize the sun’s rays turning the king to earth. Sneferu’s accomplishments are unquestionable not only he was the man responsible for creating the first true pyramid shape but on the way to doing so he built three colossal monuments. Together they are amounted to 226 million cubic feet of stone. Just a sheer amount of stone by volume, by weight that was cut in order to build these monuments for Sneferu no other king in history used so much stone in building of their monuments. But Sneferu’s pyramid would not be remembered as the greatest engineering achievements in Egyptians civilization. They will soon be eclipsed with the largest pyramid ever constructed, a monument of such precision that up to his death people question whether it was built by ancient civilization, the great pyramid of Gizza.
