The Question Was: A Bit Of Constitutional Trivia for anyone brave enough to take a guess... Which Of The Following, is The ONLY Recognized Legal Authority Figure According To The U.S. Constitution, & Whos Constitutional Authority, Exceeds That Of Even The U.S. President Within Their Own Specific Jurisdiction??? A) - Police B) - State Police C) - County Sheriff D) - Governor E) - Congressman F) - Senator The Correct Answer Is: C - County Sheriff! Not suprisingly, many Americans believe that the sheriff is an antiquated figure who lives in the movies & has no modern relevance. Realistically, the sheriff is STILL the highest governmental authority in his county. Within that jurisdiction – inside his county – the ELECTED sheriff holds more Constitutional authority than not only the Governor of his state, but the President of the United States as well. I encourage others, to share this very Trivia Question on their own pages! Because we need to inform others. Unfortunately, many are not aware of the answer & an uninformed public is quite dangerous in this day & age, as exemplified by the Clark County Nevada Sheriffs failure to recognize & assert his Constitutional Authority at the Bundy Ranch! youtube/watch?v=QiBcC8_goVg ~ TYB ~
