The Quran is the Muslim scripture, which means that it is the Holy Scripture of Islam. The Islamic month of fasting, Ramadan, is usually recited a juz every night and the entire Quran is made within 30 days of the month. Translations of Quran a beginner should know a few things about translations of the Quran. First, there is a distinction between the Quran and its translation. In the Christian view, the Bible is the Bible, no matter what language is. But a translation of the Koran is not the word of God, because the Quran is the exact Arabic words spoken by God, revealed to Prophet Muhammad through Gabriel. The word of God is only the Koran in Arabic, as God said, in fact, reveal how an Arabic Quran. (Quran 12: 2) A translation is simply an explanation of the meaning of the Quran.
