The R. Nathaniel Dett Club is very proud of our young and talented collegiate artist, soprano, Kayla White, grad opera/voice major at GA State. Kayla did a wonderful recital yesterday at the Congregational Church of Park Manor here in Chicago, sponsored by pianist, Geo Cooper, accompanist and the music committee of this fine church & congregation. Kayla sang Verdi, Mozart, Gershwin, Burleigh, Lena McLin and traditional Spirituals with poise, class and sophistication. Her parents are Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth (Kathy Fudge) White. There are residents of the south suburbs.
