The Restless Bible study that Im doing is focused on running the race of our lives for God, on our own specific path that He has set out before us. Going through the homework for this week in our books there is a page that has two columns. One says Who Are You, Lord? and the next says What Do You Want For Me? I started to write out an answer under the second column and I realized that what He wants for me is what I want for myself: to run well - and hard! - with Him as the finish line and goal at the end of my life! Adam Bechtel had shown me this video about a month or two ago and I was reminded of it while doing this weeks Restless homework. This girls story is absolutely amazing, and inspiring, so I wanted to share it with all of you. The way she runs each race, her mind set for running in the first place, and the way she ends are all inspirational. I want to run my race this way: giving it everything I have while I can, not focusing on the pain of the race or where I am in the pack, getting up when I fall even though it seems like everything may have been ruined, and falling into the arms of Jesus at the end, so completely spent from the race that I cant even stand. And now I want to go for a run!
